I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your

letter No. 161 P/Estates 232 of the 17th June and to forward

a copy of a report by the Registrar, Supreme Court, on the

estate of the late J.Ross,

A difficulty has arisen, however, as the

deceased appears to have married twice, the second time

under the impression that his first wife was dead. Claims

have been made on behalf of both women and a decision has

not yet been arrived at.
